VideoCameraJohn Rogers | Jenny and the Stray Dogs.

[Written October 31, 2015] John: The end of the hey in A2 has the naturally facing upward but not so for the . And the Twos need to be encouraged to complete that last pass by the left shoulder as they face up. -One will have time to rotate to face up as the Twos do their last pass. I don't make a fuss about this because they seem to get it pretty soon. Maybe knowing that they will be holding the same neighbor's same hand in the inverted line (facing up) is a good reference point.

All fwd (2), all back (2). Half sashay to trade places with partner [ sliding left in front](2). Say farewell and then courtesy turn the next (2).

Come forward, partners do-si-do(4). Waltz with partner(4), end by opening up to face center.
Smukler writes: The half sashay at the end of the A-part is not intended to include a roll away; both people slide. The courtesy turn can be a wide looping movement; it should flow into the promenade.
