  This is a 1-semester course that covers some absolutely lovely mathematics.
The overall direction is that of calculus in several dimensions, of
visualization of multi-dimensional objects, and of some elementary vector
physics.  We will cover some applications to Newtonian mechanics, primarily
orbits of satellites, escape velocity and the like.

helping other students during OHs., etc.  There is NO final exam; rather,
an optional /typed/ Final Project, due Friday, 07Dec2012, (LDClass+2)

  SYLLABUS: The entire text, chapters 11-15, vectors up through
line-integrals, culminating in Stokes' theorem, and related results.
Also, a little bit about orbital mechanics [seeing as we have NASA].
