We will cover convolutions early.  We will skip section. 3.7.

There is a private DiffyQ Archive page, for us to communicate with each
other.  I will email you the URL.

GRADES: There'll be 3 in-class exams, and a final, each counting 20%-25%
of grade; the remaining grade comes from class-participation (CP) and microquizzes.
There are no make-ups for microquizzes, but I drop the lowest score.

EXAMS:	Prereq-A: Mond., Aug26.		B: Monday, 16Sept.	
	C: Friday, 18Oct.		D: Monday,18Nov.
	Final exam:  Monday, Dec.9, 5:30PM-7:30PM, in our classroom.

HOMEWORK: I do not collect written HW.  Rather, a substantial part of
your CP grade comes from your posting solutions to the Archive.  These
are not typically assigned; it depends on your own energy and motivation.

Letters-of-recommendation (LORs): I base LOR substantially on how a
    student "thinks on his feet".  Before writing a LOR, I
    require that a student take TWO courses with me, speaking
    substantially in each.  See
